Meet Doctor Lori Ann Petrilli

Dr. Lori Ann Petrilli was born and raised in Sudbury, ON. When Dr. Lori was 16, visiting an aunt in Toronto, she was involved in a car accident and hit a pole head on. Although there were no cuts or bruises apparent immediately after
the mishap, she developed severe headaches, leg pain, and loss of movement over the next few years. “In grade 13, I was sitting in biology class and couldn’t get up out of my chair, so my biology teacher carried me into the office.” Medication, exercises and physiotherapy prescribed by doctors was not helping so, on the advice of the school secretary, Dr. Lori visited a chiropractor. “The Chiropractor looked at me and said, “You’re in a lot of pain for a 19 year old.” She explained, “By the time I saw him, I couldn’t sit down, stand up or lie down, everything was so painful.” “In three weeks I was on my way to feeling 19 years old again! He changed my life.”
Dr. Lori graduated with a bachelor’s degree from prestigious Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 1989 and received a degree from the famous Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1993. With a purpose of helping as many people as divinely possible and focusing on family care, Dr. Lori is now celebrating her 23rd year in her exciting practice in Steinbach.
Dr. Lori is professionally involved, with membership in the Manitoba Chiropractor’s Association and the Canadian Chiropractic Association. She is a long time supporter and contributor to the community and a member of the Steinbach Chamber of Commerce.

She has gained specific certification in a variety of specialized chiropractic techniques and has a special interest in nutrition, female, and paediatric care. More recently Dr. Lori has certified in C.A.T.S. technique, cranial adjusting Turner style and is thrilled with the benefits she is seeing in headaches, TMJ, concussion symptoms and cranial molding.

Meet Doctor Lawrence Schledewitz

Dr. Schledewitz was born in Saskatoon, SK and raised in Winnipeg. When Dr. Lawrence was 18 he was involved in a car accident where the car he was a passenger in was hit broadside by another car at highway speeds. Although there were cuts and bruises apparent immediately after the mishap, he seemed to have escaped serious injury. Over the next few years, however, he began to develop severe headaches. “I was in second year university and the headaches worsened and over time became one constant headache that didn’t ever go away. For three months I suffered with that constant headache and began to worry that I had a brain tumor! Thankfully, my best friend suggested I see his uncle who was a chiropractor. The chiropractor did an exam , took some x-rays, assured me it wasn’t a tumor and “adjusted” my spine. The adjustment didn’t hurt; in fact it actually felt good. I got relief, and was so excited that I decided to go to chiropractic school myself!”
Dr. Lawrence graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Manitoba in 1988 and received his degree from the famous Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1992. Dr. Lawrence returned to Winnipeg in 1994 after practicing in Australia with Dr. Lori.
